TLC Coaching
Parenting can be really tough, especially when we can't make sense of what's going on for us, or our young people. Sometimes the way we have been parented and what we have experienced can have a significant impact on how we handle things.We don't always get it right, but let us help you today. We can support you to unpick what is going on in your family and give you some pointers around what might be helpful.
Tina is the face behind TLC Coaching! Her strong professional background and experience can be found on the About Us part of the website. She too is trained in delivering therapeutic coaching underpinned by a trauma-informed approach.
TLC Coaching launched in October 2023. Laura and Tina came together to offer help to adults, families and groups; but her skill set means she also supports young people.
One of the main reasons TLCoaching has been developed is to support parents so the young persons healing journey can continue at home.

Girls Group
- This is a group for any girl who wants to have a safe space to discuss matters that might be bothering them with their peers with support from coaches.
- Topics that can be covered are:
- - Healthy relationships, sexual intimacy. anxiety, mental health, friendships, identity, confidence, self esteem and more.
Charlotte's Web
- This is a group for any young person aged 11-18 affected by cancer.
- Affected by means anyone they know who has been diagnosed, has overcome the cancer or has sadly died.
- This is a safe and supportive space for young people to have some time with others who might be struggling with similar troubles.
Family Support
- This is support for the whole family, for individuals or groups.
- This could be for parents to receive some advice support and guidance and/or for the child or children to be involved in this too. Parents might be feeling really stuck as to what to do or how to help their child.
- We also run a course for parents whose child has been sexually abused.
